Driving to Olympic National Park
Olympic National Park is located in northwestern Washington, about 2.5–3 hours from Seattle, depending on your route. Our operations are 20 miles from Port Angeles.
From Seattle:
- Drive to Bainbridge Island or Edmonds and take a ferry
- Continue by car around the Olympic Peninsula
From Tacoma / Sea-Tac Airport:
- Drive west via Tacoma Narrows Bridge
- Follow Highway 101 around the peninsula
Tip: Olympic National Park is large — plan driving times carefully and allow extra time during winter weather.
Airports
- Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA) – major airport with car rentals
- Port Angeles Airport (CLM) – limited regional service
Getting Around the Park
- A personal vehicle is recommended
- Roads can be narrow and winding
- Winter conditions may affect access to higher elevations
